| We are extremely happy to inform you that we
are organising the 1st International Euro-India Conference
on Holistic Medicine (ICHM-2008) from August 21 to 23, 2008
in Kottayam, Kerala, India. This is the first time
a joined conference is planned between Europe and India on holistic
medicine. The main aim of the conference is to develop a holistic
approach to various diseases. As part of the conference we also
plan a one week work shop on Ayurveda and Nature Cure from August
25 to 30. |

| This conference is the first ever big International
meeting exclusively dedicated to the holistic approach in medicine.
The conference will be extremely useful in the sense that it
will be attended by hundreds of doctors and researhers from
Modern Medicine (Allopathy), Ayurveda,
Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Reiki and Traditional Practitioners
of Yoga, Acupuncture, Siddha, Unani, Chinese Medicine etc.
We also invite the modern and traditional practitioners of medicine
of all the countries. The goal of the conference emphasizes
interdisciplinary research and holistic approach to medical
sciences. |
| Various sessions of the conference will have
brainstorming discussion meetings from a holistic view point
on the the following: Arthritis, Gynaecological Diseases,
Skin Diseases, Heart Diseases, Cancer, Allergy, Chronic Diseases,
Asthma, High Pressure, Diabetics, Tuberculosis, Diseases of
the Bone and Fractures, Children's Diseases, Rheumatic Disorders,
Diseases of the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat, HIV, Geriatric Health
etc. Doctors and traditional practitioners from different
fields will present their recent findings on each theme. |
Manuscript
preparation |
| We plan to come out with a
CD containing the full papers of the conference. If you have
not sent the full paper (Short paper of 4 pages) kindly send
the same at the earliest. Manuscripts should be in camera ready
form and should not exceed four typed pages. Manuscripts should
contain a short running title with names of authors and their
affiliations, brief introduction, experimental, results and
discussion, conclusions and references. Figures and tables are
to be interposed in the text with captions. Authors are requested
to prepared the manuscripts in MS WORD using Times New Roman
Font (12 size) and 1.5 line spacing in the main text. |
